Brentwood is located about 20 minutes West of Downtown St. Louis. It is a member of a group of warm, vibrant communities like Richmond Heights, Maplewood, Rock Hill, and the highly sought after, Clayton township. With access to major highways and only about a 15 minute drive to Lambert International Airport, Brentwood is a central hub for activity. People of all ages have flocked to the area in recent years.
Brentwood is inviting and fast-paced, with an endless number of cool blocks to explore. During the day, markets, shopping centers, and local restaurants are a big draw. Nightlife is active but not over the top... with one of St. Louis' famous spots, O.B. Clarks, right next door. Individuality and fashion statements are encouraged, and there always seems to be some sort of block party or community forum to encourage residents and visitors to mix and mingle.
The area has gotten quite busy in recent years, with the main draw being the Mall and Galleria. Whether you need to shop organically at Whole Foods, pick up treats for your furry friends at the local PETSMART, or splurge on a shopping spree at numerous clothing stores in the mall, Brentwood is your place to do so. Head North up Brentwood Boulevard and you will run right into Shaw Park, a hidden gem in Clayton. Locals love getting out for a walk, swimming in the community pool, or attending a famous "Party in the Park" event throughout the summer.
